Lennard-Jones Centre

The LJC Gender Equality Network aims to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the molecular and materials modelling community by empowering women and minority genders in our field. It is supported by a Inclusion & Diversity Fund of the Royal Society of Chemistry. We work to address gender imbalance by promoting mentorship, equitable career progression, and accessible networking opportunities. Through targeted initiatives, hybrid events, and broader engagement, we aim to drive lasting change within Cambridge and beyond.

The network organizes regular tea/coffee/pastries break for female members which are announced on our dedicated slack group. Reach out to LJC-Admin if you want to be added to this slack group.

The network also offers a mentoring scheme for female members at all career levels. New starting dates are announced regularly via our LJC mailing list.
