LJC Women's Network
The LJC Women's Network aims to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the molecular and materials modelling community by empowering minorities in the field. This initiative plans to establish a supportive network that provides opportunities and inspiration for students and postdocs belonging to underrepresented groups through regular events, such as lunches and talks, and a mentoring program.
The LJC Women's Network kick-off event is on September 27th at 4 p.m. in the Chemistry of Health meeting room in the Department of Chemistry (map here). For those of you who are not from Chemistry, please meet in the main reception area at 3:50 p.m. so that we can take you to the meeting room. We will stream the "Women in STEM: Better Science and a Better Workplace for Everyone" talk organised by SCI (link), then continue with a networking session afterwards in the Chemistry Department Cyber Cafe. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. If you have any questions regarding this event, please write to Kara Fong (kdf22@cam.ac.uk) or Yair Litman (yl899@cam.ac.uk).
